Graeme Clark is presenting at the e-Assessment Question Conference
Graeme Clark, Head of Digital Assessment Services, Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) will chair the panel session on innovation and regulation.
Graeme worked for many years in Further Education teaching Engineering, Mathematics and Computing and led the development and implementation of digital assessment and learning systems within FE and in SQA. He is passionate about the continued and increased use of digital technology to deliver a positive impact on the achievement and success of learners.
Talking about his session, Graeme says, “The title of this session may indicate to some that we believe that somehow these aspects are on opposing sides of a wider e-assessment debate. This is not the case. I believe that while innovation in the use of technology for assessment should continue to take risks, challenging conventions and out of date practices, regulation has a complimentary role in ensuring that learners continue to see the benefits of these new technologies while ensuring fairness and reliability.”
